The Orient Institute, in partnership with the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of Lisbon University (ISCSP-ULisboa), the Research Laboratory for Cultural Sustainability of the University of Saint Joseph of Macau and the Center for International Studies of Iscte-Lisbon University Institute, is organising the 1st Session of the Asian Studies Seminar, which will take place on October 30, 2024, starting at 5pm, in Room 7 on Floor -1 of the Institute of Social and Political Sciences.
This first session will be attended by Dr Ka Nok LO, Professor at the University of Macau and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of York, who will give a presentation on ‘Macao's Cross-border Funeral Customs and Economy in the 20th century’.
