The Orient Institute, in partnership with the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon and the International Relations Coordination Unit, is organizing the Conference "25 Years of Macau's transition to the People's Republic of China - 35 Years of the Orient Institute - 45 Years of Portugal-China Diplomatic Relations", which will take place on April 11, 2024, starting at 09h30am, in the Óscar Soares Barata Auditorium of the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences.
The event aims to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Orient Institute, while simultaneously highlighting the 25th anniversary of Macau's transition to the People's Republic of China and the 45 years of diplomatic relations between Portugal and China.
